Booking Process & FAQ

Reach out to Stevie with the details of the dates and times you need daycare or boarding for your dog.
Include the following information about your dog:

  • Dog’s Name
  • Breed
  • Size
  • Age
  • Gender
  • Neutering status

Once you’ve contacted Stevie, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet session. This is an essential step
to ensure that both you and your dog are comfortable with the environment and that Stevie
is confident that your dog will mix well with others.

During the meet and greet, you’ll visit our facility with your dog. This session typically lasts
15-30 minutes.

This is an opportunity for Stevie to assess your dog’s behavior and temperament, as well as
for you to ask any questions or address any concerns you may have.

After the meet and greet, if both parties are comfortable with the booking, you’ll be asked
to complete an application form if you haven’t already done so. This form will include details about your dog’s feeding
schedule, any medications they may require, emergency contact information, etc.

You’ll also need to provide proof of your dog’s vaccinations. We require all dogs to be up-
to-date on vaccinations for their safety and the safety of other dogs in our care.

Once the application form is completed, proof of vaccinations provided, and the deposit (where required) paid,
your booking will be confirmed.

On the scheduled dates, you’ll drop off your dog at our facility at the agreed-upon time.

When picking up your dog, please arrive at the specified time to ensure a smooth transition
for your furry friend.

For daycare, drop off is between 7am-9:30am on weekdays and pick up is between 5pm-6:30pm on weekdays. On weekends, drop off is 10am onwards and pick up is before 6pm.

For boarding, we try to keep to the above pick-up/drop-off times but please contact us if you need to pick up or drop off your dog outside of these hours.

Booking & Requirements

You can book through our website, by phone, or by visiting us in person. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak times like holidays.

Before the first visit, we require proof of up-to-date vaccinations including Kennel Cough. We also recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure your dog is comfortable in our environment.

We specialize in small breeds, particularly Dachshunds, but generally accept small to medium-sized dogs if they are under 15kg.

For boarding, especially during busy periods such as Summer or Christmas, we recommend booking 3-6 months in advance. Daycare slots can sometimes be secured on the day, providing we have availability still.

Safety & Care

We maintain a secure, fenced-in area for outdoor play, and all dogs are supervised at all times. We also separate dogs based on size and temperament when sleeping to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe.

We carefully evaluate each dog during the initial meet-and-greet to ensure all visitors are suitable for daycare/boarding in a group environment.

In the rare event of illness or injury, we will immediately contact you and your vet. If necessary, we will take your dog to our chosen local veterinary clinic. We prioritize your dog’s health and well-being.

In an emergency, we follow a pre-defined protocol that includes contacting the owner, seeking immediate veterinary care, and ensuring the safety of all dogs in our care.

Pricing & Payment

Our pricing varies based on the service. Please refer to our website or contact us directly for our current rates.

We do not offer this as standard but it can be discussed on a case by case basis.

We don’t enforce a cancellation policy however do take a non-refundable deposit for busy periods and ask that clients give us as much notice as possible if they need to change/cancel bookings.
